This summer I want to spend time doing things with my family around home. My kids are at an age where they really don't want to be with mom, because i am decidedly "not cool". So, the challenge lies in tricking them into thinking we are doing s omething that they want to do when in all actuality it is something i want them to do. Such as reading a book. Both kids like to read, but profess to not want to do it anymore, more so my son than daughter. So, the challenge lies in getting them to continue reading, more than texts and for longer periods of time.

Yes! Buttrflies souns great. I did a powerpoint on butterflies this year with the beginning level students so maybe we can use something from that.
